What Kelsey Offers:

Cello Lessons

Private lessons are available for any student age 5 and up. Lessons will emphasize a nurturing relationship that fosters both musical growth and creativity. By tailoring lessons to each student's interests and focusing on proper technique, ear training, and a diverse range of musical genres, I aim to make music accessible and engaging for all learners.

Lessons are available in-person or online via Muzie.live.

Intro Offer: 3 lessons for $100 with no commitment!

Early Childhood Group Music

Do you have a child who loves storytelling, a future string player or budding young orchestra enthusiast?

Stories & Strings is a mixed-age early childhood music class for babies through age 6 featuring live cello, storytelling, movement, and imaginative play in a warm, welcoming environment. Through seasonal themes, musical games, and creative exploration, children and caregivers experience music together in a way that is playful, engaging, and community-centered rather than performance-focused.

This class is perfect for young children who love music and are curious about instruments, especially the cello! No instrument is required—just a readiness to play, imagine, and grow. This class is a fantastic on-ramp to future cello lessons (or other string instruments!)

Performances

I am available to play the cello for events. I offer a diverse repertoire that connects with audiences on an emotional level. Pieces range from nostalgic Christmas songs to upbeat pop covers. With regular performances at various community events, including an ongoing monthly performance at the Schaumburg Public Library, I thrive on creating memorable musical experiences that resonate with listeners.
